A market niche that requires reliable components that can operate under unfavourable environmental conditions, such as high temperatures or atmospheric and chemical agents. For this reason, all components must be made of materials ensuring high and unchanging performance over time.
In response to the needs of this sector, Elesa+Ganter has introduced two new column level indicators: HCX-PT and HCV-E.
Both level indicators are made of transparent technopolymer with white lacquered aluminium contrast screen, housed in the external rear slot, ensuring the best protection from direct contact with fluid.
HCX-PT column level indicator is distinguished by the SUPER-technopolymer protection frame (material that can provide mechanical and thermal properties far superior to the traditional polymers) that absorbs accidental shocks transmitting them directly onto the wall of the reservoir. The indicator is available with or without incorporated thermometer, screws, nuts and washers made of zinc-plated steel, AISI 303 stainless steel or SUPER-technopolymer. In addition, special openings in the protection frame provide maximum fluid level visibility even from side positions.
HCV-E column level indicator, in addition to the visual control, generates an electric signal when the oil level drops to a minimum. Standard executions are available with a built-in relay with two conductors (NO and NC versions) at the output or three connectors (SW version).
Thanks to the side output of the connector, HCV-E level indicator allows to minimise the level of intervention of the sensor because assembled at the nearest position to the minimum fluid level (63 mm from the back of the tank). The swivelling connector with front or axial output guarantees protection against water jets, ensuring IP65 protection class according to IEC 529.
