knurling up to a shoulder. Semi-floating head which holds
itself in the neutral position when not in use. Will compensate
for any runout of the part being knurled, or incorrect centre
height setting for tool.

The
design of this knurling tool allows the full knurling load
to be applied without distorting the workpiece or straining
the machine soindle or cross-slide as is oftern the case with
conventional "plunge" type tools. Slender work which
would spring under normal conditions can be knurled at speed,
as can all diameters up to 100mm. The tool is designed for
direct mounting in an open-sided toolpost.
